Molori Safari, a South Africa-based safari company, has launched its second property, Molori Mashuma in Mana Pools, Zimbabwe.

Part of the Rora Private Collection, the luxury camp comprises six spacious, fully air-conditioned tented suites that offer privacy and peace, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush.

The design concept, brought to life by Johannesburg-based Hesse Kleinloog Studios, reflects a deep connection to the surrounding landscape.

Artists and local communities were commissioned to create tactile elements, featuring various weaving and embroidery techniques, that contribute layered elements of surprise throughout the camp.

The aesthetic of Molori Mashuma is bold and eclectic, consistent with the style of the company’s original lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve.

At Molori Mashuma, guests have the opportunity to experience Mana Pools National Park through activities like game-viewing, walking safaris, dining at the foot of thousand-year-old baobabs, and bush picnics on the banks of the Zambezi.

Mana Pools is one of the few UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Southern Africa,” says Eric Ichikowitz, co-owner of Molori Safari.

“Its unique biodiversity and wildlife experience is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in all the years I’ve spent in the bush. It took us just one visit to understand how unique the place is.”
