PSL: Title-chasing Ngezi Platinum look to re over from midweek setback

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title chasing Ngezi Platinum Stars will be seeking a response when they host relegation-threatened Yadah in Mhondoro on Sunday.

Ngezi were beaten by Dynamos on Wednesday in a match where the platinum miner’s title credentials were tested.

The Treasure Choragwi side was left reeling after Dynamos clinched victory at all costs, including employing delaying tactics.

However, on Sunday Ngezi are shifting focus to Yadah who were clobbered 4-0 by Herentals compounding its relegation woes.

Yadah would need anointing for a miracle escape from the relegation zone as they occupy the last slot for the chop with teams below them piling pressure.

Meanwhile, Dynamos will travel to Kariba to face ZPC as the Harare side chase their slim chance of winning the PSL title.

DeMbare will arrive in Kariba with confidence after their win against Ngezi but will have to do without Donald Mudadi who was shown a red card in their previous game.

Back in the capital, CAPS United will be aiming to continue on their resurgence path when they face basement team Cranbourne Bullets.

Makepekepe are steering away from the relegation zone and will be looking to string another win on the trot against Cranbourne whose guns are running out of bullets.
