UNITED KINGDOM: Zimfest has announced more artists for the 2026 edition this weekend which has moved to the event’s new home at the Delapré Abbey in Northamptonshire.

Organisers have confirmed that Jnr Spragga, Tamy Moyo, Delroy and Tsungai Tsikirai have been added to this year’s line-up, joining Jah Prayzah and Sulu Chimbetu. Popular comedian Comic Pastor will also be in attendance, bringing his trademark humour to the festival.

The family-friendly event will take place on 25 July at Delapré Abbey in Northamptonshire, a venue chosen for its improved accessibility, including better rail connections and more parking capacity.

What began as a celebration of Zimbabwean culture in the UK has become one of the biggest events in the diaspora calendar, attracting thousands from across the UK and beyond. The festival brings together music, art and culture, creating a vibrant celebration of Southern African identity and heritage.

Organisers also confirmed new sponsors Taptap Send, the global money transfer platform serving diaspora communities across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

This year’s festival will also include a tribute to Hilton Mendelssohn, one of the founding members of Zimfest.

In 2001, Hilton helped create what would become more than a festival. Through Zimfest, he helped build a home away from home for Zimbabweans in the UK. The tribute will honour his life, leadership and lasting contribution to the Zimbabwean community, as well as the foundations he helped build for Zimfest.

“It is a connection to home, community and shared identity. This year, alongside the celebrations, we will also take time to remember Hilton Mendelssohn, whose contribution to the festival remains part of its story.”
