Wolves fans in awe at what Marshall Munetsi just did for Zimbabwe

Marshall Munetsi is one of several Wolves players selected by his nation during the March international break.
Wolves signed Munetsi on transfer deadline day and the 28-year-old has instantly become an important player for Vitor Pereira.
The Portuguese tactician has used him as an attacking midfielder, supplying him with the attacking freedom to get into the box and make an impact.
Munetsi scored his first goal for Wolves against Everton almost two weeks ago, and the midfield powerhouse was selected by Zimbabwe for their World Cup Qualifiers against Benin and Nigeria.
On Thursday, he was deployed as a deep-lying midfielder, but he still made an incredible impact.
Zimbabwe played out a 2-2 draw against Benin, leaving them bottom of Group C and with hardly any chance of progressing into the World Cup.
But despite their lowly position in the table, Munetsi can be pleased with his performance, as his well-taken goal helped his side to a point.
It was an instinctive strike on his weaker left foot inside the box and Wolves fans have reacted to the moment via X.
“It’s a good habit to have… We just need his to be more clinical at club level,” one fan wrote while another commented: “Ballon D’or incoming.”
“Some player,” a third simply stated.
One supporter even compared him to Dave Edwards, who was famous for being a goalscoring midfielder at Wolves.
“He was superb today this guy with a man of the match performance,” a sixth replied, waxing lyrical over his display, while a seventh wrote: “Watch out for Munetsi next season cause he’s gonna be one hell of a player.”
Right place, right time.
