Key absentees as Warriors coach names Zimbabwe squad

The Zimbabwe national team coach announced today, March 12, a 23-man squad ahead of this month’s FIFA window.

There are three notable absentees from Marian Marinica’s list: the injured Jordan Zemura, Walter Musona, and Marshall Munetsi.

Several key Warriors have answered the call, including Knowledge Musona, Marvelous Nakamba, Teenage Hadebe, and Gerald Takwara.

During this international window, the Warriors will head to Francistown, Botswana, to compete in a four-nation tournament that also features Malawi and Zambia.

The Botswana Four Nations Tournament, scheduled from March 28 to 31, gives the technical staff under Marian Marinica a crucial opportunity to lay the foundation for a solid team ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
