Fastjet Zimbabwe to Introduce Lusaka Service

By Agencies
Zimbabwe’s Fastjet will launch scheduled services between Harare and Lusaka, Zambia.
The introduction of this service is set to boost regional connectivity since it is Fastjet’s first route into Zambia.
This service connecting the two capitals will commence on Wednesday, April 9. The airline will serve the route three times a week, with an Embraer aircraft.
“Zimbabwe and Zambia have a symbiotic relationship that cuts across multiple sectors. The introduction of this route attests to our commitment and contribution to further economic and social development of the Zim-Zam region.
“For ten years fastjet Zimbabwe has been a proud part of the Zimbabwean community and we are delighted to expand our commitment to Lusaka,” Fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson Nunurai Ndawana said, per a press release.
The introduction of this service is significant since it is Fastjet’s first Zambian route. The airline currently operates flights within Zimbabwe and between Zimbabwe and South Africa.
