The 25-year-old, who signed for Leicester City aged nine in 2007, becomes Exeter coach Gary Caldwell’s tenth summer signing.

“I’m delighted to be here, pleased to get it over the line, and I can’t wait to get started,” Admiral said after sealing the deal.

“I first spoke to the manager about two weeks ago and we’ve been in contact since, then we got it sorted in the last couple of days so it was a rush to get down here!

“This club has a great history of young players being given opportunities to play and express themselves, and there is proof in that with the likes of Ollie Watkins, Ampadu, and given the opportunity I like to think I can excel here and help the team.”

At Luton, Muskwe was part of the squad with compatriot Marvellous Nakamba who joined from Aston Villa.

Muskwe did not feature in all the three games premiership newbies Luton have played in the new season, and remain bottom of the table after losing to Brighton, then Chelsea and West Ham.

Exeter on the other hand are flying high after and sit second on the table behind Oxford with ten points from their first five games.

Muskwe signed his first professional deal with the Leicester City in the summer of 2016, and made his first important loan move of his career to Swindon Town in the January window of 2020. A successful loan at Wycombe followed in a year later, and he would score his first professional goal within three weeks of joining the Chairboys.

He added two more to his tally before the end of the 2021/22 Championship campaign. In July 2021 he joined Luton, making his Championship debut in an opening day of the season win against Peterborough, before scoring his first Hatters goal three days later against Stevenage.

Muskwe spent the first half last season on loan at Fleetwood Town, netting three goals in 17. The forward has also played five times for his native Zimbabwe, scoring once. He will be wearing the number 10 shirt.
